Brenda Cunningham Obituary: Brenda Cunningham, beloved grandmother of Youtuber Cara Cunningham has sadly passed away. She died on Saturday 4th November 2023 at the age of 76 surrounded by her beloved family. She was confirmed dead through a Facebook publication that reads “Mamaw, Brenda Cunningham has gone to heaven. She was surrounded at home by her husband (Papaw), me, my dad, and my stepmom”. The actual cause of Brenda Cunningham’s death has not been revealed at this time.

Born on March 13, 1947, Brenda was the cornerstone of her family, readily lending a helping hand to anyone in need. Her talent for crafting heartfelt poems was particularly evident during moments when her loved ones sought solace. Additionally, her culinary prowess earned her a well-deserved reputation, as she delighted in preparing meals for all. While Brenda’s familial role was paramount, her impact extended well beyond her immediate circle. Her selflessness knew no bounds, as she tirelessly volunteered her time and efforts for various charitable causes, leaving an indelible imprint on the lives of countless individuals.

Her life was not without its challenges, yet she approached each hurdle with grace and determination, emerging stronger and more compassionate than before. Her unwavering optimism and belief in the power of perseverance inspired those around her to confront their tribulations with courage and resilience.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James Cunningham, who loved and cherished her during their 58 of marriage; Sons Tim, and Bryan, and his wise wife, Julie. She will be dearly missed by Cara, her granddaughter, whom she raised as her child. Her grandchildren Belle, Timmy (Bo), Shonda, Greg, and Taylor, and special Grand-Dog Charlie, held a special place in her heart, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Her siblings, Judy, Lee, and Jeff meant the world to her; As well as her nieces and nephews, Gia, Sandy, Robbie, Michelle, Letisha (Sissy), Eddie, Freddie, Scottie, Shannon, Christie, and Carrie; As well as many special nieces and nephews & extended family.

The funeral service for Mrs. Cunningham will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2023, in Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. before the service. The graveside service and interment will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park.
