Brad Bartel Obituary, Cause Of Death: Brad Bartel, a University provost at the Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) has passed away unexpectedly. Anthropologist and instructor Dr. Brad Bartel of Murfreesboro, Tennessee was confirmed dead by the Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). He died on the 30th of October 2023.

“The MTSU flag will be flying at half-staff today in memory of Dr. Brad Bartel who passed away on October 30, 2023. Dr. Bartel served as the University Provost from July 10, 2010 until May 9, 2016. At that time he returned to the classroom and was currently employed as a Professor in Sociology & Anthropology.”
