Anthropologist and instructor Dr. Brad Bartel of Murfreesboro, Tennessee was confirmed dead by the Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). He died on the 30th of October 2023.

At that time he returned to the classroom and was currently employed as a Professor in Sociology & Anthropology.”
