Blake Mathison Obituary, Brad Manning Ford Parts Driver Has Sadly Died

Blake Mathison Obituary, Death – On August 28, 2023, the world lost a beloved soul as Blake Arthur Mathison, aged 59, passed away. Blake was born in Park Ridge, Illinois, the son of Jack and Judie (Link) Mathison. He embarked on a beautiful journey of love when he married Florence J. Trevino on June 15, 1991, in Geneva, Illinois.
Blake’s career was marked by dedication and a genuine passion for building relationships. He spent many years in the beverage industry, contributing his talents to Coca-Cola, and later, he ventured into warehousing operations with Proven Partners and OSI. However, his recent role as a parts driver at Brad Manning Ford allowed him to indulge in his love for driving and servicing customers, which brought him immense joy. Blake was not just a professional; he was a man deeply committed to his community and personal growth.
He was a Shriner, a Master Mason, and a proud member of the Scottish Rite. His zest for life manifested in his love for boating and fishing, activities he delighted in sharing with his cherished wife, Florence, as well as with family and countless friends over the years. Music was a constant companion in Blake’s life.
Whether he was singing with the Madrigals and Theater in school or playing various musical instruments, his passion for melodies was undeniable. His most treasured musical talent was playing the Bagpipes, an art that marked numerous milestones in the lives of friends and family. When Blake took up his Bagpipes, he did so in full authentic dress, elevating the experience for all fortunate enough to hear him. In his neighborhood, Blake became a fixture on his front porch for the past 29 years, where he warmly greeted and welcomed all who came his way.
But above all, Blake held his marriage to Florence and the bond with their children and grandchildren closest to his heart. He leaves behind his loving wife, Florence, and their four children: Terri, Dawn (Don), Leon (Melissa), and Josh (Rosie), as well as seven cherished grandchildren. Blake is also survived by two brothers, Brooke (Pam) and Brent (Sharon), and a sister, Susan (Ned), along with seven nieces and nephews.
