What Happened in Farmingdale?
2 adults identified as Gina Pelletierre and Beatrice Ferrari died and 5 students were injured in a bus accident. According to officials from the state of New York, the bus had fallen into a ravine that was approximately fifty feet deep when it was transporting forty children and four adults from the Farmingdale School District on Long Island to a band camp in Pennsylvania. 77-year-old Beatrice Ferrari was a woman of impeccable morals and impeccable style, and her faith was unshakeable.
Angela Ferrari-Aldieri, Ferrari’s daughter, noted that despite the fact that Ferrari had been retired for seventeen years at the time, she continued to volunteer her time to the band because she enjoyed spending time with the youngsters. She served as a teacher liaison and collaborated extensively with both the pupils and their parents.
