Antwan Hill Obituary: Dead After Shooting in Downtown Kansas City

Antwan Hill Obituary: 32-year-old Antwan Hill has sadly passed away. Antwan died after being shot in the Quality Hill neighborhood of downtown Kansas City. KCPD responded to the area in response to the shooting following an early morning 911 call. Upon the officer’s arrival,
Officers arrived at the dispatch location of W. 9th Street and Jefferson Street, but individuals already on the scene directed them to W. 8th Street and Pennsylvania. A man with obvious gunshot wounds was unresponsive in a park area.
While waiting for an ambulance to transport him to the hospital, officers provided the man with medical care; but he later died of his injuries.
The investigation is still underway, and homicide detectives do not yet have anyone in custody in relation to the incident.
