Anna Bosma Car Accident: Omaha Police are investigating a traffic fatality accident that resulted in one person’s death and another being hospitalized on Friday night near UNO. The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. Friday near 62nd and Dodge streets. Police have identified the victim, who was pronounced dead on the scene, as 22-year-old Anna Bosma of South Dakota.

Witnesses reported seeing a black 2019 Mercedes piloted by 61-year-old Mark Carlson and a black 2014 Buick Encore driven by 26-year-old Cameron Robinson speeding down Dodge Street. The police investigation also supported this.

According to investigators, Carlson lost control of his vehicle and veered into the eastbound lanes, colliding with a red 2015 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Bosma.

William Story, 23, was identified as the passenger in the Cruze, and he was taken to the hospital. The investigation into the crash is still ongoing, and charges are pending.
