Angel Lopez Obituary: Man Found Dead On Genesee Street, How Did He Die?
According to investigators, a 65-year-old individual named Angel Lopez was reportedly assaulted in an apartment building located on Sawyer Street’s third floor at approximately 3 a.m.
In a significant development, law enforcement officials have apprehended a suspect believed to be the individual accountable for a tragic occurrence that unfolded outside a local minimart on Thursday morning.
According to reports, it is believed that Damien Young, aged 38, allegedly subjected Lopez to a severe beating, rendering him semi-unconscious. Subsequently, Young purportedly threw Lopez out of a third-floor window, causing him to land on the second-floor fire escape. In a tragic turn of events, Lopez met a fatal end as he tumbled from the fire escape and landed lifeless on the unforgiving pavement.
In a noteworthy development, Young, a registered Level 2 sex offender, was apprehended on Thursday afternoon and subsequently transported to Rochester General Hospital in accordance with the mental hygiene law.
In a recent development, it has been reported that he was released from custody on Friday, only to be subsequently charged with second-degree murder.
In a development that has captured the attention of local residents, Young is set to face arraignment in Rochester City Court this coming Saturday morning.
