Last week, Amber Zapien passed away in a vehicle accident on her way to school. She was a senior at Sutter High School. It was a horrible loss to her family, friends and the world. I’m sure this young lady was excited that this was her last year in high school and couldn’t wait for the future and all the goals she was going to accomplish after school and in life. I pray for Amber, her family and friends and hope that we as a community can help them during this emotional and difficult time.
